The following is my advice to aspiring entrepreneurs based upon the knowledge college Entrepreneur class has helped give me :)   If you had one final lecture to share with a group of students on what you have learned from this course, what would you share?  Beginning the entrepreneur journey has been a remarkable experience and implementing my own business continues to be a dream of mine. It's not that hard to sell something to someone, maybe a friend or family member, but it is a lot harder to develop something that will last longer than a week or year, something that will out live you. I believe this is the kind of business that this course is wanting to teach you to create, and it is possible. I believe that aspiring entrepreneurs should not give up on anything they might be longing to create. We are a lot stronger, smarter, and capable than we think we are. I am happy to say that I am beginning to feel a great spirit of intuition and creativity within me. I'm looking forward to implementing my idea; "Rent a Scooter!"  I really enjoyed reading the story of Evan Williams the early co-founder and CEO of Twitter. He experienced many of different challenges. As a sophomore in college Evan dropped out, then moved to Florida being a 'direct marketing guru.' Eventually he began helping start up a company called 'Odeo.' Odeo's success was limited due to Apple's competitive progressive nature. Yet at this point an opportunity arose as an undergrad at New York University Jack Dorsey entered on the team with Evan Williams. United, Twitter came to be. Twitter's value as of 2013 was 9 million dollars. This I feel is a great example how we should welcome opportunities and new ideas as Entrepreneurs. Social goals can replace greed as a powerful motivational force. Social-consciousness-driven enterprises can be formidable competitors to greed based enterprises." I love the closing remarks of Muhammud Yunus, "irrespective of what you learn in school always be ready to unlearn and relearn. Don't give up dreaming. Be a dreamer and keep on trying to make the dream come true. Dream about the world you would like to have. Enjoy this week's blog about $$ :) How can your view of money effect the way you live? I appreciate Steven W. Gibson's quote, "Money is neither good nor bad. The Love of money or the obsession with accumulating money from others unrighteously, no matter what the method, may be evil, but money in and of itself is neither good nor evil....It isn't the million dollars that is bad or evil but how it is used." If my view of money is clearly for no other reason than to please myself, such as buying cars, toys, technology or nice clothing, that it will soon never be enough. We will continue to want more, the next bigger and better thing. I found this to be true as I recently made a fairly large purchase buying a motor scooter. It runs a 50cc engine and goes about 45 mph top speed street, legal and not even requires a motorcycle license due to its small engine.
